Your kitchen cabinets should be organized in a work triangle accounting for the stove, refrigerator, and sink. Optimizing kitchen cabinets is about being efficient. When you are preparing food, you will need a stove top that allows you to move work freely, and adjacent cabinets that complement the stove top.
Ideally, you should have a cabinet next to the oven where pans and pots are stored. You should also have another cabinet for things that are used inside your stove. You can save space by adding a narrow cabinet where baking sheets are stored sideways. All trays, platters, and dishes should be in a cabinet close to where you cook. Also, it’s a good idea to have spices, wooden spoons, and spatulas in cabinets where you can easily grab them while cooking.
